Effective Monday, October 5, 2009 hospital visitation will be limited to children 14 years of age and older
throughout the hospital during flu season which runs through mid-March. Kettering Hospital, along with other
hospitals in the area will be complying with this policy as recommended by the Greater Dayton Area Hospital
Association (GDAHA).
While we understand that this is difficult - especially during this exciting time for your family, but the health and
welfare of all of our patients, especially our smallest ones, is of utmost concern.

Park in the Physician's Office Buildng (POB) parking lot and meet in the POB lobby area just inside the POB entrance. Parking passes are provided.
Tours are also a part of many classes, including 'Childbirth Preparation' classes, 'Refresher Childbirth' classes, and
the 'Baby and Me' sibling Classes. Call the Precious Beginnings Office at (937) 395-8600 for details. Pre-registration for these tours
is not necessary.

 Labor and Delivery Suites
All of our private birthing rooms are beautifully furnished with dark cherry or oak pieces. Each room includes a private shower/bath, TV/VCR, CD player, mirror, comfortable seating and a recliner for overnight guests.

Mother/Baby Suites
After your delivery and recovery time, our patients are moved over to the Mother/Baby unit. Each of these private
rooms has its own shower and sitz bath. TV/VCR, recliners for the coach all add to the home-like atmosphere.
The Mother/Baby Nursery is a secured area. There is always someone available to take care of your baby while you shower,
sleep, or rest. Your
Pediatrician will see your baby while you are in the hospital and give you updates on his/her
progress.
