I can cope is a series of educational classes for people with cancer, their families and friends. The program helps people meet the challenge of dealing with cancer by clarifying cancer myths and facts. This free program provides practical information about cancer and its treatments and offers self-care strategies for facing cancer. I Can Cope is co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society and Kettering Medical Center network. The program is free, but registration is required. Look Good & Feel Better is an American Cancer Society program designed for ladies undergoing cancer treatment. Specially trained licensed cosmetologists provide tips for coping with unpleasant side effects such as dry skin, blotchiness, discolored fingernails, and the loss of hair, eyelashes and eyebrows.
