Here at Southview we have a full-time NRP certified Neonatal Respiratory Team that attend every delivery. On High Risk deliveries and C/Sections a Special Care Nursery Nurse will also attend the delivery.

After delivery your infant will be assessed and evaluated by one of our experienced Special Care Nursery nurses during their transition period. If your infant is admitted to Special Care Nursery for any reason, your infant’s nurse and physician will explain the procedures in Special Care Nursery and orient you to everything. Our experienced staff is ready to care for your little miracle.

We are a Level II Nursery. Our experienced staff is equipped and ready for any emergency. Both Neonatology Groups are available 24hrs a day to attend any High Risk delivery.

Dayton Infant Care Specialist @ Children’s Medical Center is also available to offer Prenatal Consultations for parents prior to delivery. (See Physicians List for phone numbers)
