 What is pulmonary rehab?
This is an individualized goal specific program which allows you to live a more independent lifestyle with a respiratory condition. The program encompasses one on one education and exercise classes which teach you about your lung condition, how to exercise and do activities of daily living with less shortness of breath.
 Who is pulmonary rehab for?
People of various ages who are suffering from any chronic lung illness. Patients range from high school athletes with asthma to seniors that no longer can make it through the grocery store.

 Can I enter pulmonary rehab if I smoke?
If you smoke, make a serious effort to quit. Kettering Medical Center offers smoking cessation programs to help you break the habit. Pulmonary rehab can help support you during this process.
 Can I participate if I am on Oxygen?
