The Ultimate Training Program...
Only Kettering Sports Medicine Centers offer this unique training program for athletes in
the Miami Valley region. This program is developed to meet the athlete’s individual needs
and goals, including improving:

- Explosiveness
Our Sports Acceleration Training team designs and directs specialized personal programs to
meet each athlete’s individual needs and goals. We offer flexible scheduling and small staff to athlete
ratios. This program is created for any competitive individual 10 years of age or older and a minimum
height of 54" including middle school, high school, college and professional athletes.
Plyometrics
Plyometrics are exercises designed to improve your balance and awareness of your body position as well
as quickness, agility, explosiveness, and vertical and horizontal jumping ability. Our plyometric
program uses patented shock absorbing platforms which reduce strain on the body while still allowing
you to train at your maximum ability.
Weight Training
An individualized weight program is established for each athlete based on a strength assessment and
age. We will target weaknesses and emphasize a proper strength base. Our weight equipment was
specifically designed for Sports Acceleration along with Cybex machines and free weights.
Sprint Cords
Our patented sprint cords are used to safely recruit and isolate specific muscles used in running and
throwing. This allows you to train at velocities used in actual athletic competition without limiting
range of motion. Sprint cord technology has been expanded to include the multi-sprint cord which
encompasses a variety of arm movements for all sports.
