Athletic Training Workshop
Kettering Sports Medicine Center co-sponsor an Athletic Training Workshop designed to introduce students to the
field of sports medicine. Each year many students seek to enter the field with little knowledge or what various
professions are available. To understand the working components, one must first learn about the field of athletic
training. Staff members from KSMC, along with local athletic trainers will teach sessions on practical skills for
the prevention and management of athletic injuries. This will include lectures and hands-on practice sessions.
Upon completion of the workshop, certificates of attendance, achievement awards, and door prizes will be awarded.
